We are still shocked by yesterday's disaster and the aftermath that came from it. If you're like us, you're probably looking for ways to help. The American Red Cross is a leading organization in the disaster relief efforts in Moore and can use funds to give victims the support and medical attention they need. The easiest way to help is by texting REDCROSS to 90999 to give a gift of $10. If you would like to give more, you can do so online here.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.

So you're a master at cosplay and know everything there is to know about Vampire Knight. One question: Ever think about hosting a panel? At Izumicon, we know that fans put the "fan" in "fandom", so why not let them show it? Hosting a panel is a great way to show others about your interests and find people who like the same things you do. If you're an artisan by trade, plan a workshop to show others just starting out the best way to accomplish something. We already have the 2013 Panel Submission Form up, all you have to do is fill it out. We look forward to seeing your panel at Izumicon!

WE'RE MOVING!

After six years, Izumicon has outgrown its home at the Sheraton Midwest City Hotel and Conference Center. While we are sad to say goodbye, we are excited about new opportunities for the future.
Officially, we are pleased to announce our new home at the Cox Convention Center and Renaissance Hotel.

The Renaissance Hotel and Cox Convention Center are centrally located in downtown Oklahoma City and are a short 5 minute walk from Bricktown, Myriad Botanical Gardens, and the OKC Amtrak Station. With an additional 20,000 sq. feet of space, the Cox Convention Center will allow Izumicon more opportunities for panels, dealer tables, artist booths, events, and general attendee meeting space. The Renaissance Hotel offers 258 guest rooms, 10 North Bar and Grille, Caffeina's Marketplace, and a fitness room with pool and spa.

We will have events throughout the year at the Cox Center, so make sure to stay tuned for more information.

We are excited for this new year and look forward to seeing everyone at Izumicon 2013!
