ONKEI- I didn't either until I saw Steam Boy on tv a couple of years ago. Rent the movie. You will be surprised.

Milkyushigirl--yes it does, and when Ron and I went to see Chuck Huber's Sherlock Holmes play in Dallas, they had the backdrop in that type of style...and it worked...

he is the new sherlock on tv. He has that manic manner and it works. Chuck, who played him in Dallas, lost weight to look the part of an opium addict as sherlock was. He was manic, bipolar, with that english accent. WE have been to his plays before. He is called a one act play, in which, you don't need anymore characters because the actor is good enough to carry the entire play, and did the critics agree at every play they have attended that he was in. The steampunk backdrop was jaw dropping for The Crucifer of Blood play. They did good in casting the actors to fit the part.

I don't know who all I was looking at when we were showing the prizes at the meeting sat. night, at our car, but, I hope you will tell me. I know who Natalee, ( who does not have freckles)danikat(who also does not have freckles) and Tabatha was, but, all you others I would like to know what your names are on the facebook or forum. Plus, you seemed to be pleased with the selection. WE did not get home till 2:45 that morning......uuhhhh.....

How are you doing?

Things are fine right now. My wayfaring daughter will be home Sunday evening.

I've almost finished getting the girls' books & assignments ready so we can start school on the 20th. Oh, and I finally found a chinese dress pattern so I can work on Brittany's Sakura cosplay. There is hope that I will get it done before Izumicon.

I was there Saturday night & I'm so sorry that I missed meeting you! Brittany and I were probably outside playing the games when you got there. We stayed late to watch the movie and barely made it home by midnight. Thanks to "Summer Wars" we have a new catchphrase around here -- "Please tell me you didn't break the Internet." :lol:

What games were you playing? Were you outside when we pulled up at 8:30? We drove around the front of the building, and saw two people standing on the west side of the building. We were parked on the east side of the building. We went in the building, which was wall to wall people, and blackroseli was talking to the crowd. Then we left to go out to the car to show Tifa, Danikat, Tabitha, and about 6 or 7 others, that I do not know there names, to show what we had in prizes out of the trunk of the car. They were pleased. WE went back in, and was going to get a smoothie, but, the machine or something was not working. By then, they were showing the movie. WE left about 9:30pm.By the way, if you have never tried an orange freeze at Braum's, try the medium size. It is an orange sherbert smoothie. Once you try it, you will get hooked.

We must have been in the crowd when you got there. When they announced the games, we went outside next to the kiddie pool and stayed there until the video was almost ready. I'm sorry I missed meeting you!

In reference to me, uuhhh, I broke out in Shingles two days ago, and it has taken over ....With that said....

the auction went really well. I am getting feedback that it was successful from the fans, plus, the artists, are now expanding the art, and setting up new websites because they had been selected for this convention. I don't think they realized how exceptional they were as an artists until they heard the response from the fans that have e-mailed them that either won them in the auction, or won them at the OPening Ceremonies.

NOw, I need to get your warrior's surprise to you soon.

I finally got the print after about 3 weeks of it being stuck in OSU'S mailing system... why they had to change the system while I was expecting about 5 packages is beyond me but thats just my luck....and I've decided to make and sell hats... it's so much fun! LOL I've recently decided to go into my little pony stuff just because my neice LOVES rainbow dash... go figure. but you can see what I've done so far on my facebook page if you are interested. and I NOW HAVE A WORKING PAYPAL after months of fighting with it.... you have no clue how much I wanted to choke that thing.....and pokemon hats... must do pikachu! LOL
