As for those bringing pets, I just ask that if you bring them they are small and well behaved. I do not want huge animals or animals that may or may not growl and attack people who they do not know, especially since most of the people will be in costumes. I've seen dogs that I've known for years snap and bite because they do not recognize the costumes being worn.
Small pets that the public can play with are fine, but must be on a leash or harness. The first time a pet snaps, growls or shows any hostile signs the owner will be asked to leave the parade group.
