ok from the con, i know that some of you play magic. and from events that happened last weekend i found more of you that play.
so i was wondering where you guys play and if there is a time that we could get together weekly monthly or whenever.

i bought it on x box. i quit playing cause it would let me cheat....mana burn....mana, burn your moma down.

ya i was at jenn's last friday we need to get together again and play it was hella fun. and sadly mana burn doesnt exist anymore

really? no more mana burn? im still running off of 5th edition rules. have they changed that much?

from what I understand whatever mana you don't use you just lose, but stuff still remains tapped. I could be wrong, though. Haven't played since Kamigawa. 5th edition?! Holy crap, and I thought I was out of date (jk).

ya if you tap a land and dont use the mana it just goes to waste

I think I'm running on 5th edition as well. Although I do have a Kami deck but I hardly play it.

Alright for those of you who question, yes they did get rid of mana burn, it was during the um um um oh bugger the set just before 2010 came out, I don't remember its name. I need to get update on the rules but theres been a TON of changes, theres more things to a turn now than before x.x

do you mean the phases? like untap, upkeep, draw, main phase 1, attack, main phase 2, discard, and then end phase.
anyone want to meet up tomorrow(thurs) to play some M:tG?

Yea yea! the phases have increased... theres like seven phases now but I don't remember them all Dx
