Judges Awards (largess level for any reason)
- All CosPlay participants must have an official Izumicon 2010 Pass
- There will be a mandatory meeting and rehearsal early Saturday morning.
- Izumicon is a family friendly convention. All skits and costumes are required to be PG (see The Motion Picture Association of America for more details).
- All costumes must pertain to Anime, Manga, J-Pop, or J-Rock.
- No more than 8 people will be allowed on stage at one time. You may have more in the skit as long as they exit and enter accordingly to maintain 8 or fewer on stage.
- No guns, sharpened blades (cosplay swords should not be metal), or hard items intended to be used as a weapon such as a quarterstaff or bottle. When in doubt ask the cosplay coordinator prior to the event.
- No explosives, flash pots, or fire.
- All special effect items must be pre-approved at the Saturday morning meeting before the Cosplay contest .
- All music must be cued, clearly marked, and turned in with your sign-up sheet at the Saturday morning meeting.
- Stage time limits are as follows:
- Masquerade/Walk-on: 2 min. or 3 poses
- Cosplay: 8 min. per entry. 1 entry per group or individual.
- CosPlay staff may disqualify anyone for breach of these rules, attitude problems, or safety concerns. Please use common sense and respect your fellow fans: cosplayers, staff, and audience.
